Service Description

Here's what you'll learn: • How to use common tools: Mitre saw, bandsaw, router, handsaws, chisels, cordless drill and more. • Safety in the workshop: Learn how to complete projects with confidence and safety in mind. • Create two projects: We will be completing two simple projects, which you will be able to take home! • Joinery: Learn to fashion a variety of joints between wood pieces. COSTS • $250 (+15% HST) per Learner All materials are included in the cost of this program. INSTRUCTOR • David Cowperthwaite David has been an avid hobbyist woodworker for years. In 2023, he upped his skills with the Craftsman Program at the Rosewood Studio School of Fine Woodworking. He looks forward to sharing his passion and experience with new woodworkers.

Refunds, and Cancellation Policy >> Refunds will not be offered for this one time class, but purchases can be transferred to another individual. We may also consider transferring the credit to a later class, on a case by case basis. Cancellations due to weather >> In-person classes will only be cancelled if weather conditions are quite serious. Stay tuned to social media for updates. >> If a class is cancelled due to weather, the course will be moved to the following week (unless otherwise specified).
